Carnival Eats recently opened locations at the New York State Fairgrounds and in Watertown. The openings come as New York state prepares to lift its remaining COVID-19 restrictions in most settings when 70% of the state’s adult population has received at least one vaccine dose.
But under current state guidelines, Carnival Eats requires a reduced attendance capacity, recommended mask wearing, cleaning procedures and social distancing with markings for lines, the release states.
“We were looking forward to including rides and games, but we held back until we had guidance and approval and knew we could do it safely,” Kevin Jankiewicz, owner and operator of Carnival Eats host Main Event Amusements, stated in the release.
